Mumbai: The Center for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), will offer a Piramal Prize in order to persuade and prop up valiant entrepreneurial thoughts. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh for the winning entry, incubation support at CIIE at IIM Ahmedabad and a possible added business enterprise capital funding. The Primal Prize evaluation process for the year 2008 comprises of three steps The 2008 Piramal Prize evaluation process involves three stages, concluding in a finalist workshop and selection.
The award will be given away in May 2008. The award winners will get an opportunity to work in close cooperation with a mentor, network with potential investors, and make a final presentation to the Piramal Prize Selection Committee. The Piramal Prize award distinguishes high-impact and scalable business models leveraged with innovative solutions, which directly or indirectly attends to India’s healthcare crisis. Nominations for the award may comprise innovations in service delivery, technology applications, health-related products, or mechanisms to address public health necessities such as potable water.
